Brava to you. I taught a year of eighth-grade science in public school and then several eighth-grade sessions of summer school. When asked what the students were like, I always answered, "97% of them are great. It's barely 3% who demand all the management." I hope he respects you. I think that's key. When they don't, it's really difficult.
