Aw, this was so sweet. It reminded me of when we adopted our little calico kitten. She was so sweet and loving, but she wasn't in good shape. She was missing a bunch of hair and she was super-skinny, but my husband fell in love with her the second he saw her.

Of course, we brought her home and got her fed, and her hair grew back, long and fluffy and beautiful, and she decided that she was too good for us! But we still love her when she deigns to come into the living room and give us some attention. :)
